Event Details

MISF!T® (My Interest Stays Firmly In Theatre) is starting its new Level 1 (Batch 35) acting course on August 6, 2016.

Please Note: The Interviews and Registrations are happening very soon, on the 24th of July, 2016 and if seats are available, on the 31st of July, 2016. There will be a brief interview before the registration. Knowledge of theatre is not necessary for the interview, it is purely for us to get an understanding of your potentials and your reasons for joining the course.

To fix the time for your interview and registration (or for further details and course fee) please call 9241500886 (only between 12 pm-2:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm), way before the date of Interviews and Registrations.

This workshop promises you nothing except the understanding of ‘belief’ – Acting is believing.

We will also be dealing with a separate chapter called “Transitioning from Stage to Screen – Fundamentals”, which we started during the previous workshops. The Level 2 advanced workshop will have a more advanced treatment of the same subject.

Course Synopsis:
Level 1 is the foundation course which aims to bring out the fun of acting, make participants to shed their inhibitions, teach them stagecraft, pantomime, and character building. It is also for people without any background in acting. The objective is to make them as natural as possible.
The course is unique because it focuses on bringing out the originality, the creativity, and the attention to detail in the actor, by letting the actor create their very own concepts and execute these, in the form of numerous short plays, during the course of the training.
The course syllabus is available here.
This course is also designed in such a way that it will help the participant, if he or she decides to, take acting as a profession. The course gets constantly upgraded because the ideologies are constantly evolving.

Please note punctuality and attendance are very essential.
