While the Beginner’s batch kept the acting at a more fun level, stressing more on projection and focusing on comedy scripts with humorous portrayals of characters with regional accents, the Advanced batch was all about internalizing. It was about being ‘In the Moment’ and doing an in-depth analysis of the character before portraying it. From the character’s background to the kind of situation that is being played, we had to understand everything in totality before going forward.

It was a more serious batch which involved more theoretical classes. But when we finally started putting our learning into action, the results were amazing! Everyone improved in this batch drastically and really learnt to get into the skin of the character they were portraying.

It has been a long and great journey across my two batches in MISFIT. I’ve learnt a lot, made lots of new friends and really enjoyed the whole process! Ratan is a very sound teacher who knows his subject thoroughly and is able to get it across to the students admirably. He interacts less as a teacher and more as a friend and guide.

I would recommend this course for all non-aspiring actors/actresses as well, just so they can explore another aspect of their own personalities and know just what they are capable of achieving if they really try their hand at it.
