I joined misfit to get a sense of myself, people and the world around me. It wasn’t really about getting on stage or acting, it was more of exploration and after 6 weeks of mind-boggling roller coaster ride of an experience and almost feeling like giving up, I have gained so much more love and respect for this art form. As of the course structure and anyone looking at acting for professional reasons, look no further. For me, It opened up a whole new dimension in my life. The atmosphere made me vulnerable and open to my insecurities without any form of judgment in midst of complete strangers who became family by the end of the course. I was made to push my limits and I guess that is where all the learning happens. About Mr. Ratan, aka BABA! There is a life lesson in every sentence he speaks. I was surprised by how he made us use the mind and the body in ways never engaged before. He can revive people in seconds and seems more like a magician than an acting instructor. Thank you, Sir, for the opportunity.
