Hello Baba,

The first word on the white board on the first day of L2 was “Honesty”. And truly L2 is all about honesty. On the day of admissions you gave us enough opportunity to back out from taking up this journey of L2 as it was going to be really very tough. But I am so glad I chose to take it up and as a result, today I feel I am not only a better actor but also a better person.

Even before the classes commenced we were given some materials and homework to come prepared. I knew it right away that this is serious and way tougher than L1. But this provided an opportunity to go through the entire L1 notes again and already, that excitement of acting and weekend classes set in. Once the classes started, we started working on some difficult emotions right away. Though it felt like it was kind of impossible and very stressful, it motivated us to work on it even during the weekdays to get it right and slowly I could feel the change happening. Now it started getting really exciting and fun. During the class, while working on every single emotion I got a chance to revisit all the old and forgotten memories in my life and this was the best part for me as I could use some of those life memories as triggers for emotions while acting. I could definitely feel the honesty in every emotion during my acts in class. As you would always mention that every emotion must come from an “Honest” place, now I started to understand what it means and feels like to express with honesty. Also various other techniques and exercises that you provided during the classes have helped a lot in better development of character. The entire process of building a character and also a scene is more meaningful and exciting now. The way you have planned the entire course is brilliant and easier to understand. All the improvisation acts that we did in class helped in polishing the skills every time. The feedback and tips you provided after the act helped in correcting the mistakes and get better.

After L2 my passion and respect towards this art has greatly increased. I would definitely say that for L2 we need a lot of dedication and hard work to see that change in us and I am extremely happy that I have completed it successfully. And all this would not have been possible without your guidance and trust so thank you so much. I will never forget this wonderful experience.
