So if you are a judgemental head like me, then you should read my review. About 2 months back when I was going through the reviews in misfit site, I really thought Ratan was some kind of manipulator and people were overrating him. I was wondering how could eveyone praise him and there wasn’t a single negative review on the internet. That scared me a bit and I was bit reluctant to join there. And people also wrote that they have got beautiful friends during the course. Again how come anyone could be bonded in 6 WEEKENDS just 12 DAYS. So if you are wondering how like I did, you should seriously take up this course. Ratan is a LEGEND. Now imagine 35 people from different walks of life and from different language and cultural background becoming best of friends in 6 weekends. That sounds like a magic and Ratan is the magician behind that. So whatever you are reading in reviews, trust me Ratan is not overrated at all. Coming to the acting part, he teaches from the scratch. If you are already into acting, the passion for acting will be multiplied and if you are new to acting, you will develop a great respect for the art as well as the actors. I am a working professional who actually waits for the weekend to laze around. Trust me after an exhausting week, I feel renewed by Ratan’s voice. He has got such a voice that you will never get deviated when he speaks. In fact, after every class, I always think in his voice. It is almost like when you travel by train or car for so long that even after the journey you can still feel like sitting in a car/train. His voice was like that. Ratan is a man of energy and it helped me in a lot of ways since I am a lazy person. So in short L1 in misfit is actually a lifetime experience for me. Meeting Ratan and time being spent with him is precious. I have learned not just acting but learned life from this place. Of course, I have got a new family called Misf!t. Precisely it was not just an acting course but an acting therapy for me. Definitely looking forward to l2 course.
Regards,
Harini.
