Thank you Ratan, for taking us through this wonderful workshop
I was a fun loving child, loved to be in the company of people and equally enjoyed the company of animals – cats, cattle & dogs to be precise. Was proud of the little garden I maintained. I was a creative child, loved to work with colours, sang a lot, danced, read all the books I could get my hands on as a kid. However over the years, gave up all the things I enjoyed doing one by one. Started being critical about myself! Realized I had become a boring/serious person.
Then one day I watched this short film, in which a colleague (Pramit Pratim Ghosh) had acted and learnt about this wonderful Theatre group called MISFIT from him. I thought that this may be one way of connecting with my creative self again. The decision to join the 6 week workshop was almost instantaneous. Well I have already finished 5 weeks and am waiting for the grading. I feel I have learnt so much in the last 5 weeks but know that it is only the beginning. I hope to join Level 2 and learn a lot more J and have a lot more fun.
Ratan, I loved the way you taught us, emphasis was on doing and not on theory! The energy and passion you brought to the sessions, your maturity of handling emotions and insecurities of the participants is exemplary. Some of the exercises (games) you used were so simple yet drove the point home. I loved the way you encouraged those who needed it and reprimanded those who were overconfident !
I think all IT professionals need to attend your workshop . I will definitely encourage my children to join your workshop.
There is so much to say, yet I am not finding the right words to express it all. Will you please give me another chance to provide you my feedback in a couple of days?
Regards
