I was always told that I can never be an actor because people believe that acting is all about pretending and being very straight forward by nature I can’t pretend so that means I can never act. And I believed those people. But they were absolutely wrong. When baba taught in our L1 that acting is not about pretending, it comes from an honest place, I was not convinced till I joined L2 and learnt the process.

During my L1 I was very conscious of people around me while acting, so I could never get into character. I was conscious of my body language, my way of talking and all other crap. It was very difficult for me to go on the stage and perform , But thanks to baba for giving me an opportunity to do my L2 , I learnt the real acting (honest acting). I am no more scared of stage now. In fact I just love to go there and perform. I find getting into character is easy, I am not at all scared of my audience now. Because its not me, its my character who is performing on the stage. Baba scared the hell out of us when we started L2, but trust me its so much of fun. I just enjoyed these 6 weeks training (like baba said it’s very traumatic, I agree but WHO SAID LIFE IS EASY? :P). But I found it way better than my L1. I am so happy that I dint go anywhere else to learn acting. Misfit is one of the best things that has ever happened to me.
