Week 1:
Title: I Know I am At The Right Place
Took admission two weeks before and after meeting Ratan couldn’t wait to start.
The day before our first class we received an email from Ratan with dos and don’ts the excitement got the better of me. I couldn’t sleep the previous night, health wise it was not my best day but didn’t want to miss the class for anything…
Reached class on time it was good to see Ratan in action, when he is teaching nothing else matters with the passion he teaches it tends to rub on you.
For the next 7 hrs I was Exploring, Understanding and Learning the real ME.
I know I am at the right place.
Week 2:
Title: I Am Enjoying Learning
When you are with someone special, time just flies. At “Misfit” you realize that someone special is you. Ratan doesn’t teach he inculcates the interest to learn, which is what makes it more enjoyable; here you enjoy others company as much as your own.
Keep learning… Enjoy learning…
Week 3:
Title: Use Your Wisdom
We have all the answers within; all we have to do is use wisdom.
We have questions, Ratan makes us think and answer our own questions and the answers we come up with are amazing!
Our life experience teaches us to control our emotions. What I have learnt at MISFIT is expressing emotions sets us free.
Perfection is not a destination to reach or a Person to become. Perfection is to respect and accept oneself.
Week 4:
Title: Do Everything with a Purpose
I either heard or read about finding purpose in life. Never really understood “How, What, When and Where” about purpose.
When Ratan said, to do anything; find the purpose. Then it made sense to me, in our day to day life, if we start doing things with a purpose, our lives will become more meaningful and we start living in present which is more important to lead a fulfilled life.
At MISFIT I have learnt that “Observation Teaches”. If you are willing to be a student, Teachers are all-around you in the form of People and their Lives.
And the next 4 Weeks:
I have learnt improvisation which is to build on what one has with “Wisdom”.
My sister always called me a drama queen and theatre is just for me. At MISFIT I have learnt that drama is to make anything interesting and exciting after learning that I am proud to be a drama queen in real life.
And I also learnt the importance of “Listening, Eye contact, Gestures, Mannerism and Projection”.
After joining MISFIT I have learnt so much about myself.
So have I learnt enough? well as we all know learning is a never ending process; I want to continue learning…
Only the sight of Ratan teaches you so much… I am going to miss him till the beginning of next level.
Blindfold Exercise Experience:
Blind folded; completely dependent on senses (“Hearing”, “Smell”, “Touch” and “Taste”) being led by a person whom you almost just met and still feeling relaxed is an amazing experience.
“Fear is just a mind game”
And leading a person who is dependent on your sight is also an experience.
