Batch 24 Level 1

Unni Raj – about the grading

It’s your level of passion that leaves your unique thumbprint on the hearts of others. What moves you, excites you, keeps you up at night and wakes you up in the morning? Without passion, you’ll never be your most charismatic, attractive, an…d influential self, living a life you enjoy and being someone that others enjoy being around.

On a cool December evening,in a nondescript part of Koramangala,Bangalore,a bunch of people huddled together psyching themselves and each other up before the big finale. It was an eclectic group of people with nothing in common brought together by the fire of passion burning bright.Tonight they promised to go for broke and get into genres that they were not comfortable in.Nothing could stop them. They were invincible.

And boy did they perform ! Sweaty palms and a racing heart were replaced with a quiet confidence as the old buildings of inhibitions and self imposed limitations came crashing down in a dance of dust and destruction.

After the dust had settled down, what was left was a wonderful collage of bright colours.
Here are some of the bright spots that remain etched in the mind.

Richie- silky smooth dialogue delivery Jyoti- great use of eyes, facial expressions n smile Pravin- very believable as the kid/surprised everybody Ajay-completely unlike him but extremely believable/talented kid Sonam-displayed versatility frm docile to an utterly menacing character Keshavan- natural actor in a very difficult role Surabhi-displayed a strong spine despite an unfamiliar role Tony- Cool dude getting cooler by the day/good presence of mind Prags-versatile,awesome range, gets deep into character/respect Suryavanshi-the best we have seen/awesome with Urdu Saily-displayed a natural flair for acting n no inhibitions Tushank-looked very good on stage/talented Kaushik-stunning display of confidence n improvisation Swathi-very believable in an unfamiliar role
Pritam-acting pedigree showed/experience matters in acting Kamat-matched Pritam with confidence and natural ability Shwetha-Made the best use of props n an upper class accent Vineet-brave choice of role/played it with aplomb Surya n Amiya-tried to push their boundaries/good use of props/realistic display of emotions Paapi-Learnt n delivered dialogue in an unfamiliar language/awesome Satya-delightful display as the cranky principal with a very well made up nasally voice Sushank-good dialogue delivery n entirely believable as a kid Jeu-guts n glory performance/brought down the house/the show stealer of course

Anil-showed emotions on stage which was very difficult for him/kudos to him Abhinav- chicken or egg/not very many can do tht especially a tall guy Joyce-multiple roles done crisply !
Like to extend our sincere gratitude to the seniors for their selfless support without which it would have been monumentally difficult.

Finally a very big thank you to the colossus who made all this a reality. His burning passion gave light to us and lead us out of darkness. We will keep that fire burning.Ratan must have a smile when he reads this.Hope he is proud of us!!
