Hey Baba,

Could truly say that the past 1 month has been an absolute turnaround for me. Not solely on the basis of acting or the passion for it, but also personally for myself.

I did dream of myself to perform before a set of audience, but it was a whole different story to be actually doing it. During the 2nd week of the workshop, I left the studio in complete distraught with myself for the brief little horrendous time,I had on the stage facing over 30 people looking towards me. That very day, I lost a bit of hope and in the moment even had (obnoxious) plans of backing off from the workshop,I though that moment did not last long as I made up my mind to see where I would wind up at the end of the 6th week, i.e. our grading day. Two weeks passed by and without me realizing I could walk up to the stage without any uneasiness and like I stated that the workshop had been a turnaround for me personally; during these weeks I had built a confidence, not exclusively on the basis of acting but also in my personal life and the way I conversed with the people around me. Gosh! It felt good to approach people without feeling foolish about myself. (Lesson 1 at Misf!t)

Before starting the workshop, I used to repeatedly bore Baba (Ratan Sir) by reminding him about my stage fear and he would, each time, quiet calmly respond- ‘No worries, Arvind. I’ll take care of it’.Usually left me dazzled wondering how could one ‘JUST’ take care of something as complex (Stage Fear-in my case) as this within a span of few weekends? And without my knowledge he cracked my fear on the stage in less than 4 weekends. You might hear this probably with every batch, but Baba, for me personally you truly have been a magician. A redeemer, for where I was when on Week 2 of this workshop. Doesn’t really matter how tough its gonna be from here on, these 6 weeks have undoubtedly transformed the individual I am.

‘A teacher is as good as his/her student’- Has been pretty contradictory in my case, a long and rusty way to go but to where I am right now, its only because of you, Baba. You quiet truly are a wizard.

Would also like to be grateful to the amazing seniors who have worked their back off for us throughout this six weeks and particularly the last 9 days. You guys are amazing!!’
