Once upon a time, there was a land far far away called ‘Acting’. Once held in high esteem, this beautiful place was filled with hollowpromises, shady acting institutes and under achieved talent.
But reckoning was not far. Then came the ‘master’ : sage by looks, poet by thought and warrior at heart, fondly called Baba, was RatanThakore Grant.

His sole purpose was to create actors of passion : brave and honest. Along came a young apprentice called ‘Ayush’: unsure, confused and worried. But soon all his troubles were put to rest. ‘Baba’ guided him : step by step. Each day, each exercise was build to break free and expand him.Quickly and quiet magically, Ayush found a new sense of direction in acting. He learnt the ‘method’ to acting but more importantly he found the method to his own madness. His confidence soared and stage no longer scared him. The story, characters, improvisation, pantomime, stage – all of theatre became his friend and Ayush felt like a child, giddy with excitement. The apprentice was now confident for his next challenge (L2). And thus in the land far, far away called ‘Acting’ – a midst all chaos and confusion, there is still hope — Baba and his gang of Misfits.

Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu had said “The Journey of a thousand miles begins with single step.” Baba, Thanks for helping me take the first step. Looking forward tothe rest of the journey with you.
