The experience at Misf!t has been captivating, uplifting and long lasting. I came to learn acting and went back with so much more. The life skills which Misf!t taught me will stay with me forever. In Misf!t you get to interact with people from different backgrounds, cultures and ages; and getting involved in multiple activities with them coloured my personality with different hues. It is not merely an acting workshop, it is also an personality development one.Misf!t gave me the confidence to take risks and take things forward. After Workshop Lvl 1, I started my own theatre group in my school(DPS Bangalore North) called “Dramebaaz”. We performed, scripted and enacted plays and other theatrical activities and won multiple accolades in it. The amount of ideas one gets by just one workshop is mind-blowing. Ideas which I thought about while in Misf!t turned into school plays. One such play which our theatre group scripted and directed took our school to the semi finals in Delhi in The Annual Inter-School Drama Festival held by the British Council!Ratan Thakore Grant who while teaching also switches on the creativity and imagination lying deep within you. Just a few months after you complete the workshop, people around you will see the difference in you and your confidence. If you are an aspiring student reading this then I would say do not look at it as just a theatre workshop, it has elements of life submerged in it.I would encourage people to go for such workshops where multiple people get together and learn some activity while having a wonderful support system(like Ratan and his students- or should I say The Devil and his minions?).Who knew hell could be so much fun!
