Dear Sir,
Before sharing my feedback, I would like to thank you for allowing me to pursue this course. I wasn’t able to make it to the interview process and I’m immensely grateful you understood my situation back then.
I have been overjoyed by your conduct of the course, your energy, commitment, wit and more importantly the knowledge you have shared, and thus keeping the sessions very engaging. Various aspects of theatre were covered in detail, which is unbelievable given the short span of the course. As a concept, characterisation has been the primary take away through this experience for me. You have put a lot of focus into it at every point of time during the course for all the students at an individual level. The word “observation” was something which I was introduced to in the early years of our life, but you have redefined it for me. Through your multiple demo performances during the course, you have highlighted it’s significance towards building a character and eventually appearing believable. Besides observation, the focus on primary emotions, voice, body language, and the multiple exercises to improve on them are an immense takeaway for me. Apart from acting, this course has partially ignited my interest in directions, conceptualisation and script work, which has also been due to the amazing batchmates I got to interact and work with. The overall experience has also made me realise how long a way I have to go before considering myself to be a good actor, which in turn has been very humbling. It has indeed made me believe that “It takes years of dedicated and consistent effort to look effortless”.
Beyond getting introduced to the essential details of acting and theatre, I have had a nice experience in getting to interact all of you. Adi, Vishal, Venky Sir and Vijay have been amazing (most importantly Vijay). I have been very fortunate to have known you at a personal level. From you, I’ve realised that there lies immense amount of greatness in giving, and it can only happen if you look beyond yourself. The acting you have taught is definitely much more than a “Paisa Vasool”, but in multiple ways you’ve tried to make us better human beings, which I feel is priceless. In a world where we are surrounded by people caught in a rat race just to make ends meet, being around you has been an overwhelming and a joyful experience. I can go on and on about you, but I need to reserve them for our conversations. I look forward to be in constant touch with you, and seek your blessings for a better and prosperous future. Love you Baba !!
